The grain used for our formula milks and porridges grows in healthy soil on Demeter certified biodynamic farms in Germany. Additional we are only buying rice from Italy and millet grain from Hungary. The use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers are strictly prohibited without any compromises.

Use

Holle Organic Spelt Porridge is suitable for when starting to wean as part of a mixed diet, from 4 months at the earliest.

 

Preparation

Multiple use: as a milk porridge, dairy free porridge or with any infant formula. Prepare the infant formula and add your wholegrain Holle Organic Spelt Porridge.

Production – Ingredients

The wholegrains used in Holle Organic Spelt Porridge are in an easily digestible form, which is particularly suitable for babies. The goodness of the grain is gently unlocked with heat and moisture ready for your baby’s growing body. Using the wholegrain means we can retain the most nutrients. The Holle Organic Spelt Porridge is lactose and milk free.

Please note

Start feeding porridges from about 4-6 months according to your baby’s stage of development and individual needs. Do not give to babies under 4 months as a substitute for breast milk. We recommend starting with a single-grain porridge. Holle Organic Spelt Porridge or Organic Rice Porridge are good to start with after 4-6 months before introducing the other Holle porridges. Holle offers 4 gluten free porridges: Organic Rice Porridge, Organic Millet Porridge, Organic 3-Grain Porridge and Organic Millet Porridge Apple-Pear. Further wheat free products are: Holle Organic Spelt Porridge and Organic Rolled Oats Porridge. The Organic Semolina Porridge and the Organic Baby Muesli Porridge contain wheat. Follow the preparation instructions on the package.

Always prepare fresh food. Do not use leftovers.

    Our 8 months old son loved this Holle organic Spelt porridge. Very very easy to prepare for baby’s first solids. Mixes very easily with pureed fruit, breast milk or formula. There is loads in the box so that you can prepare many meals. It’s great value, and best of all it’s organic. North Vancouver BC
